Anglian Timber was founded in 1981, trading as a traditional timber merchant from a site at Birch, near Colchester.

Three years later, the company purchased the George Paskell sawmill site at Wix, near Harwich. The old hardwood mill and ancient storage buildings have been replaced with modern manufacturing facilities. The new office complex was completed in 2004.

The business now specialises in the supply of fencing products and timber engineered components. Trussed rafters, metal web Eco-Joists, Spandrel panels, gates and assorted fence panels are all manufactured on the Wix premises.

Anglian Timber remains a private company owned by the Milner-Moore family.
