Anglian Timber specialises in the supply of fencing timbers and manufactured fencing products from
branches in Wix in Essex and Chirnside in the Scottish Borders.

Much of the timber is supplied from in house sawmills and each branch has brown and green pressure treatment facilities.

The Company provides a total roof package including the design and supply of trussed rafters and ancillary timber.

The trusses are manufactured at Wix in Essex, with an additional sales & design office situated in Kent.
A delivery service is provided over a radius of one hundred miles and longer on occasions.
A Protim VAC VAC facility is available on request for the treatment of Customer's timbers

Environmental Statement For Trussed Rafters

Anglian Timber Ltd shall as a buyer of softwood goods act in such a manner that it is as environmentally friendly as possible for the company and its employees. The timber shall to the largest extent come from certified suppliers.

Sourcing Softwood

Anglian Timber sources softwood from only approved suppliers.
Each supplier operates within a detailed regulatory and environmental framework.

Anglian Timber is committed to maintaining its procedures, which meet the requirements of the PEFC Chain of Custody Certification Scheme, which are independently certified by BM TRADA. This certification confirms that used for the manufacture of Anglian Timber roof trusses and associated timbers are sourced from suppliers who have themselves achieved PEFC certification for their products. Further details of PEFC environmental certification are available on request or at www.pefc.org.

All roofs are constructed from a range of TR26 truss timber.

The company’s activity shall be monitored in accordance with the law and other demands in order to decrease any possible negative influence on the environment.

Timber Treatment

The low-pressure impregnation of timber to protect against insect and fungal attack is a carefully controlled process, governed by strict regulatory standards and inspection procedures. The company at present uses Protim E415 to treat all of its roofing timbers. Safety and technical data sheets regarding this product are available on request.
